CoFounder.AI Is Live: The First AI Built to Be a Partner, Not a Product
Clarence Wooten · July 4, 2026 · 2 min read

On June 25, 2026, we did two things at once: we opened the doors to our new headquarters in Marina Del Rey, and we opened CoFounder.AI to the world.
We could have marked the moment with a press release and left it at that. Instead, we spent launch day the way we wanted to start this chapter — with the founders, friends, and community members who helped get us here. Here's a look inside.
A new category: Software-as-a-Partner
For decades, software has been a tool. You buy it, you learn it, and then you do the work. The leverage always stopped at the edge of your own time and expertise.
CoFounder.AI is built to be something different — the first Software-as-a-Partner (SaaP) platform. Instead of one more tool to operate, you get a human-like, agentic AI cofounder and a team of AI specialists who understand your industry and do the work on your behalf.
The way you work with them comes down to three moves we call ADD:
- Approve the right work
- Delegate it to your AI cofounder and specialists
- Direct when judgment or a course-correction is needed
Founders stop doing every task and start leading a team — one that never sleeps, never asks for equity, and already knows your business.
What launched
- An AI cofounder matched to you — one of 12 personas mapped to your founder archetype, deeply technical so you don't have to be.
- A team of AI specialists — industry-tuned teammates who actually produce the work, not just advice.
- Voice-first by design — reachable by phone, iMessage, WhatsApp, and SMS, so your cofounder is as close as a text.
- Founder Focus — a proactive feed that surfaces the highest-leverage next move before you have to go looking for it.
It all spans 12 industries, 134+ business categories, and every stage of a company's life — from first idea to exit. No equity. No setup fees. Cancel anytime. Plans start at $39/month.
Why we built it
"Founders with an experienced partner have always had an unfair advantage. The problem is most founders never get one. We built CoFounder.AI to change who gets access to that kind of leverage."
— Clarence Wooten, Founder & CEO
More than 8,000 founders and small-business owners joined the waitlist before we ever opened the doors. That number told us something we already believed: the hardest part of building a company isn't ambition — it's building alone.
Clarence knows the difference firsthand. A serial entrepreneur from Baltimore with two successful tech exits and four-plus years as an Executive Entrepreneur in Residence at Google X, he built CoFounder.AI to put the kind of partner most founders never get into the hands of anyone with the drive to build.
The doors are open
Launch day in Marina Del Rey was a celebration of the beginning, not the finish line. The waitlist is now an open door.
