Your Cofounder Can Now Join Your Meetings

Clarence Wooten · October 21, 2026 · 2 min read

Most of the work in a business happens on calls. The pitch. The partner check-in. The Tuesday sync where three decisions get made and nobody writes them down. Until now, your cofounder heard about those calls afterward, from you.

Starting today, your cofounder can be on the call.

A Business Partner on the Call, Not a Notetaker

A notetaker sits silently in the corner. Your cofounder takes part, the way a good business partner does:

  • "What did we charge the last client like this?" Speaks when spoken to. Ask a question out loud and get a straight answer from someone who already knows your business.
  • "Hold on, that's not what we told the investor." Raises a hand. When there's an idea or a concern worth hearing, your cofounder raises a hand instead of talking over anyone.
  • "So who's doing what by Friday?" Sends everyone the recap. After the call, the decisions and action items go to everyone on the invite.

Send Them to Any Call

Have a call starting right now? Open Settings → Meetings, paste the Zoom, Google Meet or Teams link, and your cofounder joins it. No calendar needed.

Or Let Them Join From Your Calendar

Connect Google Calendar and turn on auto-join. You'll see the next five days of meetings, and you can switch any one of them on or off. Two rules keep it sensible: skip 1:1s, or only join calls with outside guests.

Meeting names are blurred for privacy.

Choose How They Take Part

Not every call needs another voice. Pick one of three modes:

  • Speaks when spoken to. Never interrupts. Raises a hand when there's something worth adding, and answers out loud when someone asks.
  • Hand-raise and chat only. Never speaks out loud. Ideas and answers go in the meeting chat, with a raised hand.
  • Notes only. Completely silent: no hands, no chat. Just notes, and the recap after.

Choose how your cofounder takes part in the meeting

A tool waits for you to open it. A partner shows up to the meeting.

That's the whole idea behind Software as a Partner. Your cofounder already works across your business. Now they're in the room where the decisions get made, and they remember what was said.

Good to Know

  • Talk time. Time your cofounder spends in meetings counts toward your daily talk time, minute for minute.
  • Who gets the notes. Under After the meeting, you choose whether the notes are emailed to everyone on the invite. Calls without a calendar invite send the notes to you only.

Try It on Your Next Call

Open Settings → Meetings and set it up before your next call. Pick one meeting this week, switch your cofounder on, and read the recap after. See whether it caught the decisions you'd have written down yourself.
